COVID19 AND ITS EFFECT ON VMD SOLICITORS
As you all are aware, the recent outbreak of the Coronavirus known as COVID-19 has adversely impacted a large number of businesses and VMD Solicitors are amongst the number of businesses that are affected.
We will continue to serve you and offer the professional standard of service you are accustomed to
VMD Solicitors is committed to delivering the same excellent service to all our client whilst the current restrictions are in place. We have therefore implemented a series of measures to deal with the current crisis as follows:
We will no longer host client conferences in our office, but our team are able to continue to deliver the same excellent advice to our clients by video and telephone conferencing. The common means we use for video conferencing are Skype for Business, Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
Sending and Receiving Documents
We now require our clients, tribunals, courts and associates to send us documents electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org. if the files are too large to send via email, please contact us for alternative means in sending us the documents. If hard copies must be sent, please contact a member of our team to arrange delivery before sending the documents.
Getting in touch
We are still able to receive phone calls in relation to on-going matters or new instructions and can be contacted by the usual means through our main number on 0208 514 8703.
Court hearings are now taking place remotely as either video proceedings or audio proceedings. Our team will continue to liaise with the court on your matter and inform you accordingly on what decisions the court has made in relation to your hearing or trials.
We trust that we will continue to serve you to the best of our ability and trust that the current crisis will be behind us soon.
But in the meantime, we might not be able to deliver the same level of service with the speed you are accustomed to due to lack of staff amongst other things.
